Programming of UETR-PT24V16A (ON OFF Control mode) Program Step Display Explanation Pr -- Will be displayed if control mode is not chosen Select mode PR1 with UP/DOWN button Confirm mode with SET button 1. H 0.0 Set value for heating ON with UP / DOWN button (setting range from 0 to 60 C) 2. HY0.0 Set hysteresis value for heating with UP/DOWN button (setting range from 0,5 to 9,5 C) Heating OFF = H + HY NOTE: input value 0,0 C is not possible 3. C 0.0 Set value for cooling ON with UP / DOWN button (setting range from 0 to 60 C) 4. HY0.0 Set hysteresis value for cooling with UP/DOWN button (setting range from 1,0 to 9,5 C) Cooling OFF = H - HY NOTE: input value 0,0 C is not possible Err C to H Control parameters are automatically checked. Error will be displayed if CoolingOFF = Heating OFF Program will return to corresponding step for correction. Otherwise program will continue with next step. 5. CH Set temperature value for safety shutdown of Peltier module with UP / DOWN button (setting range from 0 to 80 C) 6. LUF t 0.0 Set follow-up time of hot side fan with UP/DOWN button (setting range from 0 to 30 minutes) Input value = 0 = inmediate switch off End of configuration program Parameters are saved and a long beep will resound Control mode starts automatically Programming of UETR-PT24V16A (Differential Control mode) Program Step Display Explanation Pr -- Will be displayed if control mode is not chosen Select mode PR2 with UP/DOWN button Confirm mode with SET button 1. d 0.0 Set temperature difference value (TDF) with UP / DOWN button (setting range 0 to 20 C) Heating ON = Temp CH1 TDF Cooling ON = Temp CH1 + TDF. 2. LUF t 0.0 Set follow-up time of hot side fan with UP/DOWN button (setting range 0 to 30 minutes) Input value = 0 = inmediate switch off End of configuration program Parameters are saved and a long beep will resound Control mode starts automatically Displayed errors of UETR-PT24V16A Display Erro CH1 Erro CH2 SEC Err CH2 Explanation Failure temperature sensor CH1 Display is blinking and controller is beeping Controller operation is interrupted and outputs for Peltiermodule and hot side fan are disabled Failure alarm contact (ST1/ST2) is closed Possible reasons: - Sensor CH1 is defect - Connection between controller and sensor is broken - Sensor is not installed correctly Failure temperature sensor CH2 Display is blinking and controller is beeping Controller operation is interrupted and outputs for Peltiermodule and hot side fan are disabled Failure alarm contact (ST1/ST2) is closed Possible reasons: - Sensor CH2 is defect - Connection between controller and sensor is broken - Sensor is not installed correctly Overtemperature safety shutdown Function is only active in ON-OFF control mode Display is blinking and controller is beeping Controller operation is interrupted and outputs for Peltiermodule and hot side fan are disabled Failure alarm contact (ST1/ST2) is closed Possible reasons: - Sensor CH2 reaches tripping value Alarm Reset Push SET button until beep stopps Functions and displayed values of UETR-PT24V16A Display Est Pr 1 or Pr 2 CH2 (value) H (value CH1) C (value CH1) (value CH1) Explanation Reset to initial state Push UP button when switching on power supply. Controller will beep. Confirm with SET button. All controller parameters will be erased and display will show: Pr -- Display actual control mode Push shortly SET button Long beep resounds and actual control mode is displayed Control mode is interrupted In case SET button is pressed a second time the controller will change to programming modus. After approx. 10sec. the unit will continue with control routine. Display actual value of temperature sensor CH2 Press UP button until a beep resounds. Display will show for approx. 5 sec Actual value of CH2. Control routine is not interrupted. Heating mode (actual temperature CH1) Cooling mode (actual temperature CH1) Controller inactive, actual temperature CH1 Special operation conditions of UETR-PT24V16A The controller UETR-PT24V16A can operate TEC s and cooling units which are supplied with voltages less than 24 VDC. In this case the controller has to be supplied with 24 VDC via the +24V/500mA input. Please note that the voltage at pins Li+/Li-, La+/La- and PA1/PA2 have the same level and polarity as the voltage at pins UP1/UP2.
