These tiny porcelain characters live up to their name. Avid collector Joe Van Beusekom said that Wade Whimsies came from England, Ireland, and Canada; they are not U.S. originals. “Starting as a food premium, a gift with a purchase, the first Whimsies were produced from 1954 to Joe Van Beusekom began his serious collecting of Wade Whimsies two years ago. His own frame Wade Whimsies Wade Whimsies often came with Red Rose Tea, which had its own pet shop, puts the size of these miniatures in perspective.
