Darshan, and his younger sister Anees, had the idea for kidlivz in 2017 while Darshan, who was nine at the time, was successfully fighting an ‘inoperable’ brain tumour. Whilst undergoing treatment, Darshan and his family learnt that his diet could help him endure the treatment and be cured, which inspired Darshan to want to pass on his knowledge to other children. Joyce Baker, aged 61, of Briary Way, Hemel Hempstead, stole the money from Light Corporation on Northbridge Road over a period of six years, in order to fund a lavish lifestyle and gambling addiction. Baker appeared at St Albans Crown Court last month where she pleaded guilty to fraud by abuse of position and eight breaches of a financial restraining order. She was sentenced to five years and 10 months in prison. Detective constable Liz Heath, of Hertfordshire Constabulary’s Serious Fraud and Cyber Unit, said: “Baker used her trusted position within the company to steal from her employer and conceal that the Baker was jailed at St Albans Crown Court moneyYour local was being siphoned into bank accounts she professional owned.
